Phase III amendments were approved by the CPA Board of Directors at its March 2012 meeting, and will come into effect later in 2012.
Phase III of the project proposed amendments to the CPA framework to allow for faster “presentment” of payment items via the optional creation and use of Clearing Replacement Documents (CRDs), instead of the original paper cheque.
